One thing I love about Grand Rapids is all of the cute and unique restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. that are around. You are never far from a place that is aesthetically pleasing! Before I moved here I had no idea how many great places there were, and new places are popping up all the time! A blogger dream, right?! 😉
Today I wanted to share a few of my favorite Instagrammable places in Grand Rapids that I think are the *most* aesthetic and are perfect for a cute picture! And if Instagrammable isn’t already a word… it definitely should be. Who’s with me on this one?!
Haute
This rooftop bar at New Hotel Mertens is the perfect place to go with some gal pals to celebrate a birthday, or just celebrate the end of another week! I loved seeing Grand Rapids from a new view and the furniture and decorations are SO cute. Plus you feel like a VIP since the hostess downstairs has to lead you back to the elevator and send you up. Also, if you go for your birthday, you can get a free little pot of chocolate mousse and it was delicious!
Outside Coffee Co
In the winter, this coffee stand has heated igloos outdoors and it is such a fun and unique place to visit. In the summer, they have hammocks and other fun outdoor seating as well, so no matter when you go it is a great way to spend some time outdoors! I haven’t been back recently, but word on the street is they also recently got fire pits… which would be perfect for crisp fall nights! Fruition Acai & Juice Bar (Eastown)
This acai bowl place has the cutest neon signs that utilize puns and look great in pictures. This is the one they had up last year, and now they have one saying “You’re so fine apple.” The acai bowls themselves are always ready for a picture, but add in this cute shop and it is even better! Also, their acai bowls are definitely my favorite ones in Grand Rapids! Fun fact: I hate bananas and almost every acai place has bananas in basically ALL their bowls. I mean I get it, but also it was great to find a bowl that didn’t include bananas and was delicious!
Rise Authentic Baking Co.
I am obsessed with everything about Rise! This wall is so fun, and the rest of the decor is amazing as well. Not to mention how delicious their baked goods and drinks are! I had one of their “poptarts” when I went and it was great! And take a moment to checkout how impeccable their Instagram is…
