Recently I spent a morning at thrift and consignment stores with 3 of my best friends. Afterwards I posted a picture of this tea cup on Instagram and asked if you would like to see a haul of everything I got. I was surprised and happy to see that people were actually interested, so today I am sharing all the good deals I got that day. I also love reading about what other people buy at thrift stores because it is always interesting to see what treasures people can find and then see what they do with them!
First is this teacup that I found for $0.59! I have seen so many DIY projects and organizational project that you can do with teacups, so I knew since it cost next to nothing I had to pick it up!
Thrift stores also have tons of frames usually, so I am always on the lookout for ones in good condition that are pretty or unique! I loved how unique this one was, so I couldn’t pass it up for under a dollar!
At thrift store #2 I found this flannel. It was in the women’s section but it actually is a men’s flannel from JCPenney. I just loved the colors and I knew it will come in handy next fall and winter. This was only $2.50!
Next we went to a consignment store. There I found this J. Crew baseball tee for $11. A little pricier considering it was secondhand, but it still had the original tags on it! It was originally $45, so I got a great deal on it. See how I styled a J. Crew baseball tee that I already owned here!
Lastly, I picked up this skirt at the consignment store for $4! It is high-waisted and it has pockets. And let’s be real, pockets make any dress or skirt better! It is from a brand called CAbi which I had never heard of before, but when I googled it I saw that almost everything on the site was around $100 or above so I got a great deal on this as well!
Tell me what your favorite thing from this haul is in the comments!
