Easter Blocks Nail Tutorial
I chose to use Revlon’s Tropical Temptation, Sally Hansen’s Mint Sorbet and Lacey Lilac, and my Kiss Nail Art silver glitter striper. You could obviously wear these colors anytime during the spring, not just for Easter, and the colors could easily be changed if it is a different season or holiday!
First paint your first color on each nail. Think about whether you want it to be long, like on my pink and thumb, or be one of the half ones like my other three fingers. Then paint the appropriate colors around your original block. I had to put 2 coats over each color.
Last, I added silver glitter to define the blocks. You can use any color, but I thought using a silver color would look best with the other colors I chose.
A close up of the finished look! It only took me about 45 minutes to do both hands, which is pretty good since it normally takes me about 30 just to paint my nails without any design! you can use a top coat to help seal it, but I actually did without for this design and it lasted about 2-3 days before it began to chip. I didn’t really care that much though since I wanted to try a new design!
