***This post is intended for those of you that are attending the parties, not the hosts. But if you are hosting one, feel free to look through!
In my town, almost all the graduation parties are happening this weekend of the next. Since the weather is beautiful, it is the perfect time to dress up a little and get out of those t shirts and cutoff shorts! But you can’t dress up too much, since it is just a semi casual party in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. To me, this means no sparkles or tight fitting dresses. Light, flowy summer dresses are the way to go! You have to look good, but you can’t look better than your hostess!
This lovely dress from Forever 21 is perfect in my opinion, and not only because it is under $25! But it isn’t too short or too tight and it is perfect for a graduation party! It is also a nice change from all the lace and floral that is being worn lately. Now don’t get me wrong, I adore lace and floral dresses, but for those who don’t, this is a great option!
This mint green dress from Pacsun is adorable and is so in style this season! It is $43.50, so a little on the pricy side, but it can be worn for SO many different occasions (including a grad party!)
The next option is this gorgeous dress from Modcloth. The cute wavy pattern is perfect for summer and that color of pink looks good on almost anyone! It is a little more pricy, but I think you could wear this a lot over the summer.
This dress from Charlotte Russe is good for almost anyone. I think whether your pale or really tan you can pull of this color. I also think any hair color looks good with it! And for only $15, who wouldn’t love it? I especially love the little lace detailing at the bottom.
XO, Scarlett
