Who else has been loving that leopard print is back in style?! I was a big fan of it when it was popular back when I was in high school, and I am excited that it is back again. I love that leopard print is still neutral, but it adds a bit of fun to any outfit. And leopard print shoes were just calling my name, and recently I caved.
Believe it or not, as much as I enjoy fashion and styling new outfits, I am pretty minimal when it comes to shoes. I would guess that I own about 20 pairs, which doesn’t actually seem very minimal typing it out. But I really only have 3-4 pairs of summer shoes, 3-4 pairs of winter shoes, and then a few pairs of heels, 1 pair of rain boots, 1 pair of snow boots, etc. Basically I am not a person who has multiple pairs of similar shoes (with black flats being my one exception!), and I really only bring a pair in these days if I love them. Now that I think about it, this pair was the only pair of shoes I added into my closet in 2019! All that to say, if I am going to add a shoe and recommend them, they have to be good. And these are. After only owning these loafers for a few weeks, I can already tell there are so many fun ways I will be able to style leopard print flats, and I would definitely recommend grabbing a pair to add some fun to your footwear as we head into spring!
One easy way to style leopard print flats for winter is with a pair of jeans and a turtleneck. This turtleneck I just picked up in December at a local consignment store, and I love the lace up sleeve detailing! I really like finding pieces like this that are on trend and still considered a basic, but have a detail that makes them a bit more unique. Plus, mock necks and turtlenecks have actually been growing on me this season… gotta love warm, cozy, and trendy! I also chose to pair this outfit with these earrings for a small pop of color. I have been wearing these clay earrings I made a lot recently, and I cannot wait to make even more fun pairs to add a little more variety! I love how adding a bold and fun earring like this can also really change the look of an otherwise simple outfit.
Have you been wearing any leopard recently? Do you own any leopard shoes? Let me know in the comments!
