Spring Transitional Outfit

Anyone else ready to break out all the summer clothes but live in a place where it is still only in the 50s most days?! Transitioning from winter to spring can be difficult when it comes to putting together outfits, so I wanted to share one option in today’s post!

When you think of overall dresses, most people think of fall fashion. But with a little creativity, it can also be a great spring outfit! Switching out chunky knit scarves for lighter neck scarves is one great way to start transitioning your outfits for warmer weather. My favorite places to buy neck scarves are Old Navy or Madewell, but you can find them at many different places these days. Plus nothing makes you think of spring like a good floral print! Checkout this post to see another way to style this floral hair scarf. I love to tie these scarves in my hair, on a bag, or around my neck like in the pictures above to add a pop of color to an otherwise plain outfit.

Layering is also key to transitioning your outfits from winter to spring. I would choose not to wear the leggings and boots once it is warmer out, but adding them kept the outfit cute but also practical when it is still chilly out. Long sleeve tees are also a great spring option if you are so sick of wearing sweaters but can’t quite break out the sleeveless tops yet!

How do you style clothes in the spring when it is still a bit cold out? Do you think overall dresses can be worn in the spring too? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
