If you have been reading this blog, you probably know that I love making small bucket lists for summers and school-years to help me do plenty of fun things! I find that during the year or summer it is so easy to get in a rut, but having fun things to do on a list can keep me motivated.
I had a few people ask if I was planning on making a freshman year of college bucket list and for right now the answer is no. And it is not because I am tired of lists or because I just plan on sitting in my dorm room doing nothing.
I am choosing not to make a bucket list because I really do not know what to expect and I really don’t know what I would put on it! College is so different from high school, yet I know I will have plenty of opportunities to do fun things. I obviously hope to find fun places to visit near my college and go to events and such with my new friends. But since that is about as specific as I get, there is no point making a freshman year bucket list.
Perhaps after my first semester or my first year I will feel differently and make a specific list. But as of now, my goal is just to take opportunities and make the most of my year. I know I will have plenty of good memories and I also do still have my 101 in 1001 list to work on, so it’s not like I have no list 😉
That being said, if you are in college or if you have something that you think I should do my freshman year, please share in the comments! Just because I am not making an official list doesn’t mean I am not reading other people’s list and getting a few ideas in my head!
