How To Spring Clean Technology & Social Media

Today I a sharing some ways to clean up your electronics and social media. It is so easy just to forget about cleaning these up since it isn’t always visible clutter such as in your actual house. But even if you only have 5 minutes to spare, you can tidy up something!

Computer:

Delete old files and pictures that you no longer need.

Back up anything that is important.

Phone:

Delete apps you no longer use.

Delete unwanted pictures

Back up pictures to your computer

Delete any songs you don’t like anymore

Delete old notes that you no longer need

Kindle:

I know this might not apply to everyone, but for me, I borrow books on my Kindle from the library. Once they expire, the titles stay on there but I can’t actually access them anymore. It is so easy to forget to delete old titles, so I go through every few months to do that.

Social Media:

Go through and unfollow anyone who you no longer want to follow. Unless I know you or you post helpful/inspiring things, I will probably unfollow! Go through and do this on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Bloglovin, and even Snapchat!

While you are on social media, go through and make sure you don’t have any pictures or anything posted that doesn’t reflect you well.

Email:

I can do a separate post about how I keep my inbox at 0, but just go through and delete any emails you no longer need, file away ones you will need later, and reply to any that are left!

How do you keep you social media and technology organized? If you aren’t careful, you can turn around one day and have 4,000 emails! Share your tips in the comments!
