November 2014 Q&A

Today I am doing another Q&A post since I have not done one for quite a while. I asked my Instagram followers to ask me questions, and here is what they wanted to know!

@curlygirlmimi asked: What is your post-high school plan?

I plan on going to college next fall to become a speech pathologist. Most people in the blogging world are shocked to hear that because they automatically assume all fashion bloggers want to go into fashion or PR or business. Not me! I wouldn’t necessarily be opposed to it, but at this point in my life I don’t feel it would be best for me.

@madikerk asked:  What is your weekly blog schedule?
Every week I try to post Monday through Friday, but I will be honest most weeks I end up writing most of the posts the weekend before. I really don’t have time to do blog related stuff during the week, especially writing posts, so that is what works for me! I am very happy that for the most part I have stuck with posting 5 times each week.

@curlsandpearlsprepster asked: How do you organize yourself with blogging and school?

Honestly it changed quite often. This year I pretty much only have time to blog on weekends, so I answer emails, schedule tweets, and write posts then. Then during the week I focus more on school, extracurriculars, and other real-life engagements.

@potwc asked: What is one thing on your fall “to buy” list?

I am in desperate need a new cozy flannel shirt! They are so versatile in the fall, but I haven’t found one I love yet!

@prepinmystep11 asked: How many hours a week do you spend blogging?

I generally would say about 8 during the school year, but that included emails, social media, and actually writing posts! If I have days off school or during the summer I spend many more!

@madikerk asked: Do you consider your blog a business?

The first year or two I blogged, I did not really think of it as a business since I did not make money and I didn’t do many collabs. Now that I am working with companies to do giveaways and other collabs, I do consider it a business. I still have chosen not to make any money off my blog though, so I am sure some people do not think it is a business.

If you have any other questions you want me to answer, just leave them in the comments!
