This week I interviewed Carrie from Carrie On Blogs. Over the past month or so I have talked with Carrie multiple times, and I can tell you guys that this girl is definitely going somewhere! She hasn’t been blogging for too long, but you can just tell how ambitious she is and she is so cute too! I really enjoyed learning a bit more about her, and now you can learn more about Carrie too!
1. Why did you begin Carrie On Blogs?
I was talking to my Smart Girls Loop editor who at the time was Patricia. We were talking about how to get into a fashion oriented career from a town that is not at all fashion oriented. She suggested that I start a blog! I thought about it for a few months and fell in love with the idea! I truly started Carrie On Blogs as a way to express who I am.
2. Where do you hope you blog is at by the end of 2014?
I have to say that I went into blogging with very low expectations, but I am happy to say Carrie On Blogs has done fairly well. I really just hope that my blog keeps growing and gets a loyal following. Oh! There also will be a linkup by the end of the year!
3. How many hours each week do you spend blogging?
I would say between 8 and 10 hours each week. That includes taking pictures, writing and scheduling posts, brainstorming, emailing people, and keeping up social media. The best part is that it never feels like work!
4. What are you looking forward to the most about this school year?
This year I joined the school newspaper and I am really excited about it! I love the teacher and most of the kids in the class. I am also really honored to have been appointed Student Life Editor for the newspaper!
5. What is your favorite store to shop at?
This one is so hard! I, of course, love J.Crew and Lilly Pulitzer. However, I find myself shopping at little boutiques all the time. Whether it is online, or in stores, the clothes are always so cute and unique.
6. What is one clothing item you could not live without?
This may sound so simple, but I love my Jack Rogers and Chino shorts. They look great with everything and can be easily paired with most things in my wardrobe.
7. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
If I HAD to pick just one flavor it would probably chocolate chip cookie dough. But I really haven’t met a flavor I didn’t love!
8. If you could travel to any place in the world where would you go?
Greece!!!!! It is the one place in the world I just have to go to! Between the gorgeous islands, bluewater, and the whitewash houses how can you not fall in love?
9. What is one random fact about you that most of your readers probably don’t know?
I feel like I have been pretty open about everything on my blog so this was a tough one, but after asking a few people I finally came up with one! I am an only child. I actually really like it because I can be around friends and family when I want, but I don’t always have a little sibling running around.
