Sweetheart Series #7: Inspiration from other bloggers!

Today I decided to compile some of my favorite DIY’s from other bloggers that I love! I want to try every single one of them, so I thought I would share so you could try them too!

valentinetreat Strawberry Cake Truffles from Julia at Lemon Stripes. When I saw this in my blog list, I immediately clicked on the link. I am a sucker for desert recipes, especially if the picture is cute like this one is! Once I saw the recipe, I decided it is something I am going to try this Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day Chex Mix from luci’s morsels. This looks SO yummy, and I will definitely have to try it out very soon. If you didn’t know, I love trail mix and chex mix, and pretty much any kind of food mix! LOL I guess I just love all the different textures and tastes and how they all go together.

 valentines day heart cookies
Raspberry Linzer Heart Cookies from Girl Avant Garde. I got the picture from her post, but you can find the actual recipe here. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I am more of a chocolate girl, but I can definitely appreciate a good raspberry cookei! I have never tried these, but I do think that I will try these soon, even if it is after Valentine’s Day by the time I get around to it!

Perler Bead Valentines DIY | Camille Styles
I chose to share this post just because when I saw it I immediately was reminded of my childhood. Perler beads (I always called them Iron* Beads when I was a child since you iron them!) was my major obsession from about age five until I was at least 10… if not older! I found this to be the perfect excuse to go buy some and create something cute. You can find these at Micheal’s or any craft store… they might even sell them at Wal-Mart for all I know!I had to go dig up a few of the iron beads I saved from my childhood and here were some I found.. you can tell I made some of them when I was really little!

Lastly, I decided to include this bobby pin DIY because who doesn’t love a little glitter in their hair?! I think it is super cute, and it sounds really easy. I will share a picture on twitter once I end up trying it!

Let me know if you have any favorite recipes or diy’s that you have seen on other blogs or if you had any on yours!
