My Current Favorite Hair Products

I know I don’t typically do hair/beauty posts on the blog, but I have been loving a few of the products I have been using recently, and I wanted to share those with you!

1. Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Hairspray-
I definitely do not use hairspray every day, but when I need to keep some baby hairs down or keep some curls in, I reach for this spray. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling crunchy afterwards, which is always a plus. And it actually works really well at keeping my hair curly, which is saying a lot since my hair is naturally very straight and curls usually fall out within a few hours. I also like the smell of this spray, and I don’t find it overpowering like the scent of some hair sprays.

2. Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Refreshing Dry Shampoo-
I didn’t start using dry shampoo until college, and I have no idea why it took me that long because it is a life-saver. I usually wash my hair every third day, and this stuff keeps it looking good on day 3 before I wash it. If you find yourself washing you hair every day because it looks greasy, I definitely recommend trying some dry shampoo!

3. Pantene Expert Intense Hydration Conditioner-
I was sent this conditioner and it’s matching shampoo in an Influenster box a few months ago, but I didn’t start using it until I moved into school this year. The shampoo is fine and I will use it, but the conditioner is really good! I love the subtle scent of it, and my hair always feels very soft after I use it. Obviously most conditioners do that, but I swear this completely smooths my hair.

4. Maple Holistics Tea Tree Shampoo-
Maple Holistics reached out to me about a month ago and asked if I would like to try their tea tree shampoo. I was excited to try it since tea tree is known for clearing dead skin cells from hair follicles and combating dandruff. I have dry skin in general, but it gets even worse during the colder months. I am happy to report that this shampoo has been keeping my hair flake-free and it smells amazing! Tee tree, rosemary, and lavender are three of the main ingredients, so it smells like you are having a relaxing spa day every time you shower. It is also sulfate free, and is all natural, so if you are trying to find great natural beauty products, this is one you have to try!
