This week’s Trendy Talk features a new blogger. Allison hasn’t been blogging for very long, but I am really impressed at all she is doing!
1. How did you come up with the idea to begin a blog?
I
had been obsessed with reading fashion blogs ever since I discovered
their existence.
I didn’t really think to actually start one, though, until I realized
that I was constantly receiving compliments and being asked for advise
on my style. Because of this, I wanted to start my own blog to share my
techniques and outfit ideas with other people around the world!
2. How long have you been blogging?
I’ve
only been blogging about four months, but it feels like so much longer
just because of all the work it takes. However, it’s worth every minute.
3. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I
really love having an excuse to come up with amazing new outfit ideas
and styling tips. Not that I really needed one before, but it’s nice to
have one, haha!
4. How many hours each week do you spend on your blog?
About
2-3 hours a day. This includes prepping for my outfit pictures,
actually taking the pictures, and then creating a new post. The
hardest part is coming up with a new story about each different outfit I
create.
5.
What 3 words best describe your style?
Unique, risky, and wearable.
6. Where is your favorite place to shop?
Definitely
Forever 21. Their clothes are perfect for the new and latest trends,
because they’re inexpensive enough to make the purchase justifiable.
7. What is your favorite Starbucks drink?
A Venti Coffee Frappuccino. Delicious, and not too sweet!
8. If you travel to any place in the world right now, where would you go?
Paris! I went once and fell in love. I want to go back so badly. Taking some blog photos there would be a dream!
9. Is there anything you want to accomplish before the end of 2015?
I
am hoping to establish myself further within the company in which I
work right now. My long-term goals are with event planning, so hopefully
I will have worked my way up into that department.
