Hey guys! For Sweetheart Series #9 I teamed up with Elinor to bring you guys a nail tutorial and three outfit ideas. I think that my nail tutorial ended up matching pretty well with all of her looks, so take a look if you need ideas for your Valentine’s Day manicure! Without further ado, here are her fabulous outfit choices!

Hi! It’s Elinor here from Fashion-EtcWithEllie –
today I’m going to show you, the Trendy Chick readers my top Valentines
Day looks! I’ve used Polyvore to create three sets, one for a coffee
date, one for a dinner date and the final for a night out with the girls
(for the un-valentine). Click here to see the collection in full!
Look one – the coffee date. Here, simplicity is the key, I chose to
include a sheer shirt with skinny jeans, with red accessories. I adore
the red boots and the ‘xoxo’ necklace, they are two parts of the look I
would definitely adopt myself. The studding on the shirts collar makes
the outfit slightly more dressed up than a normal shirt, which is why I
opted for that, although a normal could be worn just as easily!
Look two – the dinner date. There is an obvious colour theme here, PINK
PINK PINK. Pink is synonymous with love and romance, which is why I
chose it for the dinner date. So the main piece is a white dress, I
chose a strapless number with a detailed waistband – however any white
dress would do! The first heels I have absolutely fallen in love with! I
think the patterns are amazing. There is also a flat option for those
of us who aren’t too steady! Lola by Marc Jacobs is a perfume I have a
roll-on form and it smells awesome, if you love floral perfumes then
Lola is definitely for you.
Look three – the anti-date. So, for those of you, me included who won’t
be partaking in any dates this February 14th, we have here, the anti
date wardrobe. I’ve gone with high waisted jeans and a bralet and a
series of vests which could easily match the jeans or midi-skirts (which
are my new favourites) with flatforms (another new favourite – guilty
pleasure style). Although the bag pictures id £185/$290 it is stunning,
if I can find a cheaper version, I will certainly be buying one.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my post – if you did head over to my blog to see Scarlett’s post and more of my posts! Thanks Trendy Chick, Elinor xo
