My Goals for 2013!

I know a lot of people are doing these right now, but hopefully you aren’t too tired of reading these yet! I am going to share some personal goals for 2013, as well as blogging goals. I am sure some these goals will change as the year goes on, but I still want to write them here for me to be able to refer back to and for you guys to see what I am aiming for this year!

Blogging Goals:

  1. Reach 400 Bloglovin‘ Followers
  2. Reach 1200 GFC followers
  3. Reach 600 twitter followers
  4. Successfully host my first giveaway!
  5. Include more DIY posts, since I love doing them and most people like reading them
  6. Add a signature to the end of my posts
  7. Add a blog button that others can grab on the side of my blog
  8. Add categories at the top of my blog to make different posts easier to find
  9. Create a newsletter
  10. Create a survey to help me know what YOU want to see more of
  11. Update my media kit
  12. Blog at least twice a week every week (gonna be hard some weeks!)
  13. Try GIF’s on my blog for something different

Personal Goals:

  1. Keep my room cleaner and more organized
  2. Work harder this semester to get better grades
  3. Get an actual job, even if it does take away from blogging
  4. Keep an open mind
  5. Exercise every day. Not because I need to lose weight, but so I can gain strength and muscle
  6. Run at least twice a week in the summer even though I hate running
  7. Make at least 1 healthy decision every day
  8. Finally get a car!
  9. Have quiet time for 15 minutes every day
  10. Take shorter showers (yes, I take FOREVER in there, especially when it‘s cold outside!)
  11. Quit watching pointless shows on TV
  12. Continue doing at least 1 random act on kindness everyday
  13. Start playing the piano again and become better at it!

I also do want to share with you guys about something I am doing this year. Starting January 1, every time something good or funny happens, I am going to write it down on a piece of paper, fold it up, and put it in a jar. Then at the end of 2013, I am going to reread all the tiny slips and be amazed at what a wonderful year I had and how blessed I was throughout it. Sometimes we forget the little things that helped us get through the year, but this year I don’t want to forget a single thing.

Don’t forget to tell me in the comments some of your resolutions, or link a post you did about your goals!

And guess what?! I already completed one of my goals… at least part way. Here is a preview of what I believe my new signature will be!
