Best of 2012!

I hope you all had a relaxing break with friends and family! As 2012 is coming to a close, I thought I would briefly review some of the best posts and accomplishments that happened to The Trendy Chick over the past year. It is hard to believe that I year ago I had under 10 followers and only had a blog…  no social media or anything!

First, my DIY bobby pin holder was a huge success here on The Trendy Chick. It has really been a lifesaver in my life, and I hope it has helped anyone who has tried it out!

My Sunday Brunch ootd is the post that has the most comments I believe! I am really surprised looking back because the pictures aren’t that great, and the lighting is terrible! But it is one of my favorite outfits, and I am wishing I was still a little tan like I was in these pictures!

My fall playlist was also an idea I came up with that I didn’t see too much on other blogs. So I decided to try it and lots of people loved it! I also loved working with other bloggers to get their opinions from that post… so much fun and I got to know a lot of new people!

I also was surprised at how many people liked my Purple Panels nail tutorial. Personally, it wasn’t one of my favorite nail designs, but I guess since it is unique lots of people decided to try it!

Also, a lot of readers found this DIY post extremely helpful! Thanks for all the positive feedback on this post… I am planning on doing more non-fashion DIY’s in the future because of it.

My Holly Jolly Nail Tutorial was a big hit this Christmas, and I am even happy with how it turned out! Keep watching for a winter nail tutorial that I plan to post soon.

Now I am up to almost 200 Bloglovin followers, 100 Pinterest followers, almost 500 GFC followers, and about 275 Twitter followers! I can’t believe how far I have come, and I can’t wait to see what 2013 brings!

Let me know in the comments what your favorite post from The Trendy Chick was in 2012… and tell me what your favorite post on your own blog is in the comments! I would love to read it 🙂

xo, Scarlett
