This dress has quickly become on of my favorite dresses because of the gingham pattern, the fun sleeves, and the cutest bow detailing in the back! Gingham is such a summer staple this year, so this dress fits the trend perfectly. I will say that my dress ripped in the wash the first time I washed it, but the washers in my apartment building last year were rough and ruined multiple items. So while it isn’t necessarily the best quality, I don’t think you will have the same problem if you purchase it! Plus it ripped on the seam, so it was nothing that couldn’t be easily fixed. My friend from school also bought the same dress around the same time as me, and she hasn’t had any problems with hers!
If you are considering buying this dress, I would size up one size. I’m usually a small in dresses, but the reviews online said the arms were kind of tight, so I sized up to a medium and it fits great!
I also recently found this bird necklace again when I was cleaning out my jewelry collection. I bought it like 4 years ago in Alabama at a Loft outlet when I was on vacation for under $2. It is such a fun piece to wear, especially to add some color to an otherwise neutral outfit like this one. I actually styled this necklace is one of my old outfit posts 4 summers ago… look at your own risk. Thankfully my photography, editing, and posing skills have all improved since then lol!
Have you been wearing gingham this summer? What is your favorite print to wear? Let me know in the comments!
